The Keystone KC
Proven Process

Foundation walls experience forces pushing from every angle. These pressures can cause damage ranging from minor cosmetic to potentially catastrophic failure if not addressed. That’s where we come in! At Keystone KC, we offer customized wall repair services depending on the cause.

What You Might Notice

Visible Bowing in the siding or foundation wall, diagonal or horizontal cracking patterns indicate movement due to pressure on the wall. Leaning or bulging of basement walls and water infiltration can be an additional signs of movement.

Wall Anchors

A trusted solution for stabilizing bowing basement walls, crawl space walls, and retaining walls. Wall anchors are ideal when interior bracing isn’t feasible, such as walk-out basements or open-grade conditions. Backed by structural experience and thoughtful evaluation, our team ensures every installation meets engineering standards and executed with the care and professionalism that our crew is proud to stand behind.

How & Why They Work

Wall anchors use the soil outside of the foundation to stabilize the wall pulling against the soil to provide additional support for the wall. They do require quarterly maintenance of checking torque, so they are best in unfinished areas.

Helical Tie-Backs

A permanent, maintenance-free solution for stabilizing basement walls, crawl space walls, and retaining walls, helical tie-backs are ideal when interior access is limited or long-term adjustability isn’t practical. Installed by experienced professionals and backed by engineered performance, this system offers lasting protection with minimal disruption, reflecting our commitment to quality work and thoughtful, people-focused service.

How & Why They Work

Similar to wall anchors, helical tiebacks are installed horizontally through the bowing wall and into the soil. They are screwed in utilizing a hydraulic gear motor and driven at an angle in the soil providing a permanent anchor.

Wall Restraints (Bracing)

An effective interior bracing system for walls with moderate bowing, this solution requires no excavation and offers reliable stabilization from within. While the braces extend 4 to 5 inches into the basement, they can be easily concealed behind a finished wall, making them a practical choice for homeowners who value both structural integrity and clean, livable spaces. Our team installs every system with care, precision, and respect for your home.

How & Why They Work

Braces work to transfer extra wall pressure to the basement slab and the wood framing of the floor or ceiling above. The braces are attached to multiple joists with steel plates and are set into the concrete at the bottom. Grout is installed between the beam and the wall if there are any gaps to fully transfer the load to the beams.

Egress Windows

Egress windows provide safe, code-compliant exits while also enhancing natural light and ventilation—making them essential for basement bedrooms and living spaces. Thoughtfully installed to meet both safety standards and aesthetic goals, they’re a practical upgrade handled with the same care and precision we bring to every project, ensuring comfort, code compliance, and long-term value.

How & Why They Work

They provide a large enough opening, low enough to the floor for a person to safely escape the house in case of an emergency (fire) where egress is required. Once outside the window well has a ladder or steps installed to allow for an easy and quick exit.

Commercial Use Cases

Backed by decades of experience, our team delivers engineered, code-compliant wall repairs with precision and care, ensuring long-term performance for the people, properties, and businesses that depend on them.
