Our Story
Keystone KC was founded on a simple realization: structural foundation repairs are only as effective as their execution. While helping friends navigate foundation failures, Eric—a structural engineer—repeatedly ran into repair contractors who deviated from engineering recommendations and best practices because they didn’t understand the why behind the repair.
Everything clicked on the weekends, when Eric was working on restoring old houses. Getting hands-on with historic frameworks bridged the gap between engineering calculations and real-world construction. He established Keystone KC to ensure foundation repairs are designed with precision and executed flawlessly. Today, those plans are brought to life by our trusted, highly skilled crews who bring over 20 years of experience to the jobsite—ensuring every repair is completed correctly and to exact structural standards.
ERIC
Eric Strack lives in the Brookside neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri, alongside his wife Jenny and their six children. He enjoys finding old things—houses, cars, tools— then works to restore them to usable condition. He is active within his church and his kid’s Scout troops. Eric embodies the values of honesty, hard work, family, and faith in all aspects of his life.
The idea for Keystone KC Foundation Repair was born out of Eric’s passion for helping others. As a licensed engineer, Eric started by offering advice to friends and neighbors. Quickly, he identified a crucial need in the market for high-quality, comprehensive foundation repairs utilizing engineering principles to solve the issue once. This realization fueled his journey to bridge the gap and create Keystone KC to produce unmatched foundation repair solutions.
