The Keystone KC
Proven Process

Settlement is the downward movement of your home or structure.

Thankfully we offer several solutions to reduce settlement, secure your structure and prevent further sinking and damage, protecting your asset for the long term.

What You Might Notice

Sloping floors, sticking doors or windows, specifically near the perimeter of the home. Whether you see a large vertical crack or a series of small hairline cracks, both can indicate settlement.

Eccentric Resistance Piers

A permanent and powerful solution for stabilizing and lifting settled foundations.

How & Why They Work

Piers are driven deep into the ground using a hydraulic ram until they reach bedrock or load bearing strata. These piers are load rated from independent testers and stop future settlement. Secured to your foundation wall and footing by a chair-like bracket and supported by bedrock, the piers prevent any downward movement and stop your home’s settlement. In most cases the piers can be used to lift and restore your home.

Helical Piers

A versatile, engineered solution which has a broad potential application from skyscrapers to residential decks.

How & Why They Work

Helical piers are designed like a large screw and are installed utilizing a powerful hydraulic gear motor to screw into the earth. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes depending upon the designed use. The helix(es) distributes load over a larger area creating additional support and resistant against uplift (wind). They can be installed in basement floors and paired with steel column to prevent and correct drooping floors. Or exterior for a variety for of reasons including new construction of deck and patios.
