Solution:
This solution keeps the water out of the structure. First the exterior foundation wall is excavated and exposed down to the footing. The foundation wall is scraped clean and new tar sealant is installed (Similar to new construction). Then new foundation drain is installed at the footing and routed to daylight or a sump pump, finally the trench is backfilled with a drainable aggregate and covered with 18” of soil for plantings.
