What you see:
Cracks in the foundation walls generally in a vertical orientation and may be a single crack or several hairline cracks. Also sagging or rolling floors and cracking in sheetrock may be seen. Specifically cracking in sheetrock by the top corners of doors and windows as well as difficulty opening doors and windows. If a door or window which serves as an emergency means of egress then settlement can pose a safety risk.
