The Solution:

If you notice any of these signs, it’s important to address the waterproofing issues promptly to prevent further damage and to maintain a healthy living environment. Waterproofing methods may include sealing cracks, installing drainage systems and sump pumps, improving landscaping to redirect water away from the foundation, and applying waterproofing coatings or membranes.

Consulting with Keystone KC can help assess the extent of the issue and determine the most effective solution for your specific situation.

How it Works...

Interior

The goal of interior waterproofing is to prevent damaging water intrusion and consolidate then remove any water that can not be mitigated. Waterproofing systems can include a series of trench and French drains that direct water outside or to an interior sump pump. Epoxy or polyurethane injections are used to seal cracks, encapsulation to seal entire walls. Keystone will analyze how the water is coming in and the specifics of your home before designing a complete waterproofing system that will protect your assets.

Exterior

The primary goal of exterior waterproofing is to prevent water from entering the structure by creating a barrier on the outside, thus safeguarding foundations and walls against water damage. Keystone KC’s Ultimate Waterproofing System includes installing systems such as French drains, gravel-filled trenches, and drain tiles to redirect water away from the foundation. The application of waterproof coatings on the exterior surfaces of foundation walls creates a water-resistant barrier. Finally, We ensure the grading is at the correct slope to prevent water from pooling near the foundation.
